It appears is going out of its way to make up for Kenny Omega not being cleared to compete at TripleMania Regia this year.
Since the announcement that Omega would need to forfeit the AAA Mega Championship due to injury, AAA has been putting together a star-studded main event to crown a new champion.
AAA Director-General Dorian Joaquín Roldán Peña took to social media this morning to announce the addition of Ring of Honor World Champion Bandido to the AAA Mega Championship match, making it a fatal-five-way:
“The fifth and last challenger for the MegaCampeonato of @luchalibreaaa; arrives from @ringofhonor. @bandidowrestler
The final fight is: @vikingo_aaa vs @gloat vs @TheLethalJay vs @theBobbyFish vs @bandidowrestler
Good luck and welcome to #TriplemaniaRegia; soon more news,” Dorian Joaquín Roldán Peña tweeted this morning.
